A New Year – 2012
I was not very happy with the first half of 2011. I was very unhappy and stressed out all the time over school, work, and my future. Of course, this affected my health as my sleep pattern was all over the place. I would eat all sorts of processed foods to sustain me instead of real meals.
That’s when I decided to make a change. 2011 represented a series of changes for me: emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
I want to be a dentist because I love seeing people flash genuine smiles, like they do at the dental office where I work. It’s amazingly satisfying to repair someone’s smile. And now, working on a few photography jobs and layout designing projects, has reignited a fire inside of me, my long-time passion for journalism.
To start off 2012 right, my friends and I hiked up to the top of Koko Head to catch the sunrise. Gray, cloudy skies happened to clear up enough and just in time as the sun’s rays kissed the horizon. The photo above was taken with my Nexus S. I don’t know exactly where I will end up in a few years. However, I have complete faith that I’ll end up where I belong and I’m excited to see what happens next. Happy New Year to all!
