Summer 2013 Photojournalism Portfolio
This was my final project portfolio of my best shots taken during the semester of my photojournalism summer class taught by the amazing and award-winning Fred Larson at the University of Hawai’i. I won first place in the competition for “best portfolio” of the class. Mahalo to Fred, Rich Costick and Naomi Lugo for an amazing five weeks of class! I had been neglecting my camera, using it only for photoshoots and when asked to take pictures of an event. But this class reminded why I love being behind a camera and inspired me to pursue photojournalism.
